On Wednesday 15, September evening through a letter shared through their social media platforms, Football Kenya Federation indicated that they had parted ways with Harambee Stars coach Jacob Ghost Mulee alongside two of his assistants Twahir Muhidin and Haggai Azande on mutual consent.
FKF too indicated that they had left coaches Ken Odhiambo and William Muluya as part of the technical bench and further stated that they will be naming a new stars coach soon. This comes barely a week after Stars FIFA World Cup qualification campaign kick off against Uganda and Rwanda where they managed two points only.
In the recent national team squads since Mulee took charge in late 2020 has seen some of Kenyas best players like Wanyama, Johanna Omollo and Ayub Timbe fail to secure a place in the squad. This sparked many reactions online as this are some of Kenyas most dependable players.
CCoach Ghost who has been in the national team in 5 different occasions between 2003 to 2021 has also coached on club level with clubs such as Tusker FC, YANGA SC and APR.
Who do you think will be the next Harambee Stars coach ahead of Mali home and away fixtures come October? Feel free to share your views on the comment section and remember to share and follow for more news.
