Beyond Gabriel: Arsenal Will Make A Move For Classy Premier League Striker Battling Relegation

After the Newcastle game, it is unlikely Arsenal will make it to next season's Champions League.

Arteta's desire for a goal-scoring number nine must be satisfied this summer.

Gabriel Jesus has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days. Many people are wondering if he will be able to transform Arteta's attack if he signs.

If Jesus leaves for Arsenal, Noel Whelan believes Arteta will require another striker. He stated to Football Insider,

"They need to get two strikers, if not three. Two for sure.

"He (Jesus) definitely fits the bill of how Arteta wants to play. His work rate is phenomenal; he’s proven that he can score goals when he’s inside the 18-yard box.

"I think he will complement the way they play. I think that deal could be a done deal, along with maybe Calvert-Lewin as well from Everton."

Are Calvert-Lewin and Gabriel Jesus the heirs to the Aubameyang-Lacazette pairing? Please leave your comments below. (Football Insider)
