Why Bruno Fernandes May Become The Face Of Portuguese Football After Cristiano Ronaldo's Retirement

One of the most sucessful Player in Football history is Cristaino Ronaldo. The Portuguese footballer has achieved almost everything a footballer would wish for and set many records in football history like the Player with most goals. He has also won many awards like the Balon do'r and other Best player awards.

However his time in football is almost coming to an end considering the fact that he is now 36 years old. This means that someone else has to emerge from Portugal who will take his place and perform equivaletly or even much better than him.

One of the players who are proving to be the next face of Portuguese football has been Manchester United's attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The Portugues player has made alot of impact at Manchester United since 2020 when he joined the club from Sporting CP.

This season for example he has made 57 appearances for The Red Devils in which he has scored 28 goals and gave 19 assists across all competitions. This is a clear indication that he is doing his best to take after his Country men Cristiano Ronalso who also played for Manchester United.
