Gunners triumphed against Leicester City to secure a 3-1 victory. Prior to Leicester match, Arsenal came from behind to beat Benfica 3-2 in the Europa league and qualified for round-of-16.
Leicester City dominated the first 30 minutes as Tielesman received a great chance inside the box and drilled a shot into the bottom left corner in the 6th minute.
Arsenal got back into the game as Willian took a lovely free-kick which found the head of David Luiz, who produced a bullet header into the left post to make it 1-1.
Mikel Arteta men scored again in the 45th minute as Alexander Lacazzete took a brilliant penalty from the spot to make it 2-1 at half-time.
The gunners came into second-half confident to score more goals as Willian played a nice pass inside the box for Nicholas Pepe scored in the 52nd minute to make it 3-1.
Arsenal dominated for the rest of game with a possession of 59% compared to Leicester's 41 percent.
Following the win, Arsenal climbed 9th with 37 points after 26 matches while Leicester remained 3rd with 49 points.
