Manchester City and Liverpool will be looking to make a statement ahead of the start of the Premier League season when they face off in the 2022 Community Shield.
The annual curtain-raiser pits the previous season's Premier League and FA Cup winners against each other in a one-off match for the Community Shield.
This match will take place this week on Saturday at 19:00 hours East African Time at the King Power stadium.
The following is a possible lineup for the two clubs.
City of Manchester
Manchester City has completed the transfer of Zinchenko, and the club is looking at Cucurella as a potential replacement, and if the deal is completed before the match, he could start.
In his absence, Joao Cancelo could play left back while Walker plays right back.
Liverpool
Liverpool could attack with Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah, midfield with Henderson, Thiago, and Fabinho, and defense with Robertson, Trent Alexander Arnold, Virgil, and Konate.
In the absence of Konate and Henderson, Klopp may opt for this alternative lineup.
