Massive Blow To Arsenal, As Key Strikers Set To Miss Brentford Game

Arsenal will kick off the 2021/2022 Premiere League season by playing on Friday night against Brentford FC.

Fans will expect the Gunners to easily win that game, given Brentford just came from the Championship.

However, Mikel Arteta's task is set to be made more difficult than anticipated as Arsenal are set to miss two of their most important players.

Indeed, Arsenal are set to lack the service of Alexandre Laccazete who is their number one striker. Laccazete was also Arsenal's top scorer last season.

To add more salt to injury, Arsenal will also be without their captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang and Laccazete played most of the club's pre season games, with the likes of Bukayo Saka being on holiday.

Hence, Saka who was not expected to start, will have to be involved in the starting line up. According to reports, Aubameyang and Laccazete will miss the Arsenal game due to illness on Friday night.
