Fantasy Premier League participants face dilemma in selecting the best players for their squads to ensure maximum points in Gameweek 2 following shock results in Gameweek 1. However, here are some of the best attacking options for Gameweek 2 according to GW1 statistics and analysis.

Erling Haaland (Price £11.6) - Manchester City’s New no. 9 kicked off his premier league campaign with a brace against Manchester City. He will be looking to add to his tally for the season in Gameweek 2 as Manchester City welcome newly promoted side Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

Darwin Nunez (Price £9.0) - Liverpool's New record transfer opened his premier league account on his debut after coming off the bench to score and Assist against newly promoted Fulham in GW1 despite the game ending in a 2-2 draw. He will looking to add to his Fpl points tally as Liverpool welcome Crystal Palace at the Wembly stadium.

Alexander Mitrovic (Price £6.6) - Fulham marked their return to the Premier League with an emphatic performance against contenders Liverpool, forcing them to a 2-2 draw. Mitrovic rewarded his owners with 13 points after scoring both goals for Fulham. He will be hoping to continue his good form as they travel away to Wolves for GW2.

Other attacking options within the budget for Fantasy Premier League include Newcastle's Callum Wilson, priced at £7.5, who was on the scoresheet in Gameweek 1 and Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus who blanked in Gameweek 1 but is still a great option for most FPL players at only £8.0 as the Gunners play Leicester City.
