Tuesday night was a full of happiness for Manchester United fans and players after " ending the curse" and emerging victorious for the first time in 2022. It was also the first time in two months that The Red Devils kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford.
David De Gea's magnificent saves during the first half saved United from humuliation. Later in the second half, Portuguese lengend Cristiano Ronaldo ended his goal drought thanks to Brighton's defensive mistakes.
Another Portuguese on the scoresheet was Bruno Fernandes. The midfielder scored a stoppage time goal, which is his first goal in February 2022.

The Red Devils elevated from position six to four on the Premier League table. They are ahead of Westham by two points. Arsenal follow closely behind Westham United. The Gunners are however advantaged as they have three games in hand. The race to top four does not end their as their are a lot of clubs following closely and likely to cause trouble for United.
