Leopards Salvage a Point Against Sofapaka as Gor Win in the Betking Premier League

After a two week break paving way for the FKF Betway cup action,the Betking Premier League resumed with a couple of games lined up.Today saw 13 times Kenyan champions AFC Leopards score a late equaliser to savlvage a point against Sofapaka FC in Wundanyi.Lawrekce Juma had given the hosts in the 1st minute before adding the 2nd in the 10th minute.Forward Elvis Rupia pulled one back through a penalty in the 27th minute before Austine Odhiambo scored his first goal this season through a superb freekick to salvage a point for the Patrick Aussems led team in the 83rd minuteThe draw saw Leopards miss a chance to move up to 1st in the log.Elsewhere in Ruaraka sports grounds,Gor Mahia continued with their unbeaten run in the league after they edged out Mathare United FC 1-0 cortesy of an own goal by Lennox Ogutu from an Alpha Onyango's cross.Gor Mahia now remain 4th on the log with 34 points while Mathare still remain bottom with only 8 points.Other results saw KCB beat Bidco United 1-0 at the Thika Municipal Stadium courtesy of Derrick Otanga's penalty while money bags Wazito FC also won their match 2-0 against Kariobangi Sharks at the Utalii grounds.
