Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka has attracted interest from the Premier League with his impressive performances for the Bundesliga side this season. According to Germany newspaper BILD, the French central defender has courted the interest of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. Although N’Dicka predominantly plays as a traditional defender, who tasks himself with intercepting and putting pressure on attacking players, the Frenchman is by no means poor on the ball and could adapt to a more ball-playing style. N’Dicka was initially signed by Frankfurt in 2018 for a fee believed to be around £4.95 million from Ligue 1 side Auxerre. The French defender settled into new manager Adi Hutter’s side with relative ease and played a predominant role in the team finishing seventh in the Bundesliga in 2018/19.
In what was his 327th home league match, Spurs boss José Mourinho has suffered back-to-back league defeats on home soil for the very first time in his managerial career.
Man City aim to sign Erling Haaland this summer in a £100M deal, with Khaldoon Al Mubarak willing to sanction a move. Pep Guardiola believes winning the PL title again will help them secure a man he sees as Sergio Aguero's long-term replacement. Although Erling Haaland has a £68M release clause in his contract that is due to come into effect in 2022, Man City officials are not prepared to wait until then and feel increasingly positive about their chances of signing the striker this summer.
