The two Manchester clubs enjoyed a fruitful midweek as they claimed three points while Liverpool lost the second consecutive match at Anfield.

Manchester united beat Southampton 9-0 at Old Trafford in a joint club-record win, while Pep Guardiola's men made it 13 matches unbeaten with a 2-0 win at Burnley

Liverpool, meanwhile, lost a second successive Premier League match at Anfield after losing to Brighton & Hove Albion.

The result leaves Man City on the top of the table with a game in hand leaving Man U three points behind in the second and Liverpool a further four points adrift ahead of City's trip to Anfield on Sunday.

Feb 6: Liverpool (A

Feb 13: Tottenham (H)

March 6: Man United (H)

March 13: Fulham (A)

March 13: Fulham (A)

March 20: Wolves (H)

April 3: Leicester (A)

April 10: Leeds United (H)

April 17: Aston Villa (A)

Manchester City are 13 matches on winning streak as they travel Anfield on Sunday.

They lead Liverpool by seven points, with a game in hand, so a win at Anfield would all-but diminish any slender hope of Liverpool being crowned champions again.

It's a big week City, though, who face Tottenham and Arsenal after a trip to Anfield, followed by Manchester United at home at the start of March. They load Wii reduce but we know the Europe commitment will be on horizon. They will be competing in FA cup and Champions league football.

Man United fixtures

Feb 6: Everton (H

Feb 13: West Brom (A)

Feb 20: Newcastle United (H)

Feb 27: Chelsea (A)

March 6: Man City (A)

March 13: West Ham (H)

March 20: Crystal Palace (A)

April 3: Brighton (H)

April 10: Tottenham (A)

April 17: Burnley (H)

Manchester United will be hoping to take all three points against Everton and then to sit back and watch their two biggest title competitors fight it out on Sunday.

It was victory at Goodison Park which began United's long unbeaten in this current campaign. They haven't lost away from home this season and will be hoping yo continue with that impressive form. They will be confident against West Brom and Newcastle do that it can yield six points before they face Chelsea and Manchester City away in back-to-back weekends.

Liverpool fixtures

Feb 6: Man City (H)

Feb 13: Leicester City (A)

Feb 20: Everton (H)

Feb 27: Sheffield United (A)

March 6: Fulham (H)

March 13: Wolves (A)

March 20: Chelsea (H)

April 3: Arsenal (A)

April 10: Aston Villa (H)

April 17: Leeds United (A)

Liverpool are facing injuries at the moment, should the likes of Mane, Jotta, Keita and Fabinho recover then the Reds will be in good position to give a good fight to top four.

My Verdict.

Manchester City are best placed team to move on and claim another title. Though they have an uphill task in the he next three games, the players who were injured are finally back. Gabriel Jesus is also finding the scoring form which should now worry the opponents.
