Lamela Departures Tottenham For La Liga Giants

Tottenham to pay £21.6 for Bryan Gil, with Lamela moving to Sevilla as part of deal according to sky sports.

The 20 year old signed a five year contract with the spurs, while Lamela has joined Sevilla on a three year deal.

Lamela departure ends an eight-year spell at spurs with spurs, who signed him from Roma at a then club record fee of £30m.

Lamela has made 237 appearances for Spurs across all competitions scoring 37 goals although he struggled with injuries throughout his whole career at Tottenham.

Gil, who has made three appearances for Spain was not included in Euro 2020 squad is part of Spain squad in Tokyo Olympics where they Cruises past Australia in a 1-0 win.

Gil spent last season on loan at Eibar, where he registered 3 assists and 4 goals for the La Liga sideas the club was relegated from the La liga.

Gil came from the Sevilla young system and made 21 appearances for the Andalusian side in all competitions scoring his only goal in the Europa courtesy of Bryan Gil in Spain Kit.

He also enjoyed last half of 2019/2020 season on loan at Leganes.
