The Manchester United board has now internally discussed about the possibilities of signing Ajax left back Jurrien Timber. This follows the request made by the former Ajax boss to complete his signature. The duo worked together at Ajax, and Ten Hag sees him part of his plans for next season.

Another star he mentioned is Villarreal's Pau Torres who has been on United's radar since last summer. During his first meeting with the board, he mentioned he wants the strong center back at Old Trafford the soonest. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United wants to build a strong team that understands his system.
