Arsenal: Main Striker Decides To Leave and Join Barca- Confirmed, Saka Rivaling Salah, and More

Vivianne Miedema

Arsenal Women FC fans recently received a big transfer blow after news sources revealed that Vivianne Miedema will not be extending her contract at the club. Miedema's contract expires at the end of the season and her agent has made it very clear to the club representatives that the all time goalscorer of the club will seek greener pastures elsewhere at the end of the season. Barcelona have already made contact with her and there is sufficient reason to believe that she will move for free to the Spanish giants.

She will leave Arsenal as the Women's Super League All time goalscorer, BBC's Women's footballer of 2021 and a league winner. Jonas Eidevall is yet to give his statement concerning this transfer news but there is little he can do to convince the striker to stay at the club.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has been on a whole new level this year and is apparently on the verge of being named Premier League's Young Player of the Season. Offensively, he has matured a lot and that has been reflected by his goal tally (12 goals) and the number of assists he has made so far this season (5 assists). Mikel Arteta has been very supportive towards the winger throughout the season at the expense of exposing Nicolas Pepe more to the league.

Statistically, Saka has attempted the second most shots in the Premier League from open play, second only behind Mohammed Salah. This shows that the 20 year old has taken more authority of his decisiveness to shoot the ball unlike in previous season where he showed fragility when presented with an opportunity to shoot.

Eddie Nketiah

Arsenal's new talisman Eddie Nketiah has been doing some pretty impressive stuff in training and sources at the club have revealed that it will probably take longer for Lacazette to earn his place back at the starting eleven. They have noticed that Nketiah's finishing has gone up a notch and his positioning as well as aerial anticipation has also improved.
