Manchester United Legend Garry Neville Tips Erik Ten Hag To Axe Long Serving Player From His Squad

Manchester United legend, Garry Neville has advised Erik Ten Hag to drop one of the veteran players from his squad following an unrewarding run of performance.

The former red devils defender and football pundit has been known to be one of the greatest players in the history of the team having won major titles.

Neville has revealed that David de Gea style of play could not be suitable under Ten Hag on the road to attain dominance in the English top flight.

Evidently, the Spain goalkeeper has lacked the ability to play possession based football and always not comfortable with the ball on his feet during build up play with the defenders. This is despite making significant saves and adding his name to the list of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

Neville believes that De Gea does not have much of a future under Ten Hag as the Dutch manager embarks on bringing glory days back to Manchester United in the theatre of dreams.
