Chelsea will be hosting the foxes on Thursday day night for thier second last fixture of this season. The blues suffered a heartbreak as they lost to Klop's side on penalties, and they will be hoping to respond positively.
The race for the top four has been very competitive in the last couple of weeks, but Asernal lost to Newcastle left Chelsea on a better side and the West Londoners need just one win in the remaining two games. However, the blues are sweating for the fitness of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, who suffered injury setback before the FA game. Thiago Silva also left the pitch limping after the intensive FA Cup game, but we expected the Brazilian and Havertz to be fit before Thursday.
Injury has been the major concern for Tuchel's side and it as reason behind the blues fall in the title race. Chelsea, however, managed to play a better FA game against Liverpool, with both Ngolo Kante and Mateo Kovacic not fully fit on 100 percent intensity. However, that should not be an excuse for the Thursday match. Below is the expected lineup.
Goalkeeper: Eduard Mendy
Center backs: Thiago Silva, Trevoh Chalobah and Rudiger.
Wing backs: Marcos Alonso and Reece James
Central midfielders: Jorghino and Ruben Loftus Cheek.
Forward: Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.
