In honor of world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge, Isuzu East Africa has introduced a new edition of the D-Max pickup.

The business launched a limited edition Eliud Kipchoge 1:59 D-Max on Tuesday at an event held at the Isuzu East Africa offices in Nairobi, paying homage to Kipchoge's sub-two-hour marathon time of 1:59:40 he achieved at the INEOS challenge in 2019.Rita Kavashe, managing director of Isuzu East Africa, stated that the new model is meant to honor Kipchoge's accomplishments, who just dropped his world record by 30 seconds."We are going to jointly produce an Eliud Kipchoge D-max pick up 1:59, and the first 001 will be Eliud's car, because we are celebrating him (Kipchoge)." As a country, we must recognize the value of sports in terms of economic development, health and wellbeing, and inspiring young people to participate in sports, Kavashe stated.
Kipchoge praised Isuzu for their long-standing relationship while also admitting that he still hopes to achieve greater success in his marathon career."Isuzu and I have had a long-standing cooperation, and for them to introduce this new model is an encouragement to the younger generation, as well as for corporate to acknowledge and reward them.According to Kipchoge, "breaking the world record is actually pushing the boundaries and is one means of expanding my career."
