The Premier League is known to be having some of the best strikers in Europe. This season, the arrival of Haaland makes the race for the top scorer to be even more challenging since the Nowergian is known to be one of the best strikers in Europe.
Haaland joined the Sky Blues this summer as he looked forward to fill in the gaps left by Aguero a few seasons ago. He made an immediate impact in the Premier League after he scored twice last weekend during their match against Westham where they won 2-0.
His great finishing skills has beeb praised by many as they hope he'll help Manchester City to win major titles this season. Many are now suggesting he might end up finishing the season as the top scorer following his good start in the Premier League.
However, things might be different. One of the striker who might finish the season with more goals than Haaland is Mohammed Salah. The Egyptian forward has been one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League since he return from AS Roma.
He played a major role for Liverpool success in the recent seasons where they reached UCL final thrice in five years and helped them to win their first Premier League title in 30 years.
Salah has always been among the top scorers in the Premier League where he has won the Golden Boot thrice and finished as runners-up several times.
Last season, he won the Golden Boot after finishing the season with 23 goals. This season, he kicked off with a goof run where he scored as Liverpool drew 2-2 with Fulham. This shows he might still be among the top scorers in the Premier League this season.
This now means that Mohammed Salah might finish the season with more goals than Haaland.
