Opinion:Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Perez Over Real Madrid target Zaniolo

Los Blancos completed a treble last season, winning La Liga, the Champions League, and the Spanish Supercopa. This has paid off on the field. As they strive for greater success, the club will be aiming for a repeat this season.

When it comes to transfers, both appear to be on the same page, with high-priced younger signings being given preference over established players. A new target has emerged that fits the profile, and this appears to be the way the club will operate in the future.

Defensa Central says that AS Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo is a target for the club, and Ancelotti wants to move for this fellow Italian. The 23-year-old's contract expires this summer, so if the deal is completed, it may be viewed as risk-free.

However, according to Fichajes, Perez is reportedly unsure about a move for Zaniolo despite Ancelotti's willingness to make a deal. Perez has identified two key areas in which the transfer will not benefit the club.

The first one involves Los Blancos' top target for next summer, Jude Bellingham. Perez is of the opinion that the club would have no room for Zaniolo if the teen's transfer was confirmed, making his acquisition pointless. Due to the Italian's numerous long-term layoffs during his brief career, Perez is also said to be uncertain about Zaniolo's injury propensity.

The outcome of the duel between Ancelotti and Perez is still up in the air, but club officials will be hoping that the situation doesn't get any worse.
