Kylian Mbappe celebrating with Paul Pogba (Photo Courtesy: Twitter)
Top football players are usually ambitious to play for top clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Paris Saint Germain and France national player Kylian Mbappe has always spoken about his dream of playing for Real Madrid which was supposed to happen last summer when he requested to be allowed to move.
However, the deal never materialised as he remained at Paris Saint Germain with the hopes of completing the move next summer transfer window when his contract expires.
Speaking to rmcsport podcast today, Kylian Mbappé revealed what happened and explained the ambitions that he has.
He stated: "I asked to leave [in July] because from the moment I didn't want to extend, I wanted the club to receive a transfer fee to have a quality replacement. I wanted something respectful: I said, if you don't want me to leave, I'll stay.
I asked to leave in July, yes - but it’s not true that I’ve turned down 7 contract extension proposals… Paris Saint-Germain have given me a lot."
Should Paris Saint Germain allow Mbappe leave with some fee in the January window or risk losing him on a free? Like, Comment, Share and Follow.
