Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to lose out on a place in England’s Euro 2021 squad with Kieran Trippier and Rhys James being selected along with Kyle Walker. Arnold's recent form in the premier league has been brilliant including helping Liverpool finish in top 4. Southgate had left Arnold also in the EURO qualification stages because Arnold was out of form but class is permanent. Leaving these player maybe the worst decision ever for Southgate to make considering Arnold is the best attacking right back in the world.
A total of seven players have been excluded from the England's squad for Euro 2021. These are Sheffield United goalkeeper Ramsdale, Southampton attacking midfielder Ward-Prowse, Arsenal's forward Saka, Liverpool's right back Alexander Arnold, Aston Villa's forwardWatkins, Everton defender Godfrey and Brighton's defender Ben White.
Other players like Watkins, Saka and Ward-Prowse have been performing well in their respective teams and their absence in the squad may affect the whole team. Mason Greenwood also has been ruled out of the squad due to injury and he will remain at Manchester united for pre-season training.
