According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Jose Mourinho hasn't been overly impressed with Arsenal loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles and may decide against signing him permanently this summer.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles left Arsenal to join As Roma on a loan transfer. Maitland-Niles decided to join As Roma so as to be afforded enough playing time. While at Arsenal, Maitland-Niles faced stiff experience in the midfield position. He made few appearances at Arsenal. He opted to join As Roma with hope of getting enough playing time as well as improve his talent.
However, At As Roma, the environment is not so friendly as he thought it to be. Maitland-Niles has not yet won Jose Mourinho's favor hence there suffice minimal chance of As Roma signing him on permanent terms. Ainsley Maitland-Niles is expected to return to Arsenal at the end of his loan term unless Mourinho changes his decision.
