Top football clubs across Europe are currently busy with transfer business. Most of them are eyeing new recruitments ahead of next season which is edging closer as days go by. Manchester United are yet to sign a player despite being linked with a number of top targets.
The red devils have not speeded up their transfer moves despite calls by fans for the club to act fast. This is the same case at Tuchel's Chelsea with the London club yet to announce a big signing.
Latest reports indicate that both of these two top clubs are now battling to win the recruitment of former Liverpool's transfer guru, Michael Edwards. The super transfer scout helped the reds sign a number of top players that have succeeded under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Among the players he facilitated their signings include Virgil Van Dijk and also Sadio Mane. United and Chelsea wants to perfect on their recruitment operations and appointing Edwards is a huge step towards achieving this.
