Arsenal fans have been over the money following a recent run of good performances that culminated in winning the highly contested north London derby against Tottenham FC in a game that ended 3-1 in favour of Arsenal. However, this was not the news Arsenal fans were expecting after Switzerland international Granit Xhaka picked up an injury during the game and his return is not expected this year as he is set to sit on the sidelines for at least 3 months but the good news is that he does not require surgery.[Photo courtesy]

Xhaka was accidentally caught by Lucas Moura after the Spurs forward had been challenged by Thomas Partey and was on the ground as the visitors hit their consolation goal. He was immediately substituted by Albert Sambi Lokonga as he limped off the field in pain for further treatment on the sidelines. Granit's recovery and rehabilitation programme starts immediately and the doctors expect him to be back in action in approximately three months.[Photo courtesy]
