Swansea City vs Derby County
The English Championship league competitions fixtures for today will lock together into action Swansea City and Derby County. Normal circumstances would make this an easy football prediction decision. Swansea have 34 more points than Derby. The Welsh club is in a bit of a rut form wise, though, and they have nothing to play for over the closing gameweeks of the season. Derby, in contrast, are fighting for their Championship lives.
After a bit of a new manager bounce when Wayne Rooney took over, Derby have slumped. It’s five losses in a row, and they are right back in the midst of the relegation tussle. They are the division’s lowest scorers, and could be just one point outside the drop zone if Rotherham win on Tuesday night.
With Huddersfield and Coventry playing each other, Derby desperately need a win. Beating this Swansea team isn’t easy, though, as only the top two have conceded fewer goals.
Predictions: Under 2.5goals.
