Big Blow To Malkia Strikers As Their Setter Jane Wacu Takes Break From National Team

Malkia Strikers setter Jane Wacu has taken a break from national team assignments.

According to reports, Jane has decided to persue other ventures like concentrating on her club activities.

However, Jane did not give the reason for the break and details on when she will be back.

"Malkia Strikers setter Jane Wacu has taken a break from national team assignments to persue other ventures. The Kenya Prisons player says that she'll for now concentrate on her club activities," wrote Carroll Radull on twitter.

This comes barely two days after Kenyan international and former Harambee stars captain Victor Mugubi Wanyama announced his retirement from international football.

Wanyama, who plays for FC Montreal in the USA, quit international football after having played for Harambee stars for 14 years.

According to his statement, Wanyama noted that he would return to help the Kenyan Football Federation and that he will continue supporting Harambee Stars from his sidelines.
