One Area Ralf Rangnick Has Failed to Improve as Manchester United Coach

Manchester United is fighting hard to finish in the top four and get Champions League football next season. The Old Trafford side failed in the title race despite signing both Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, and Jadon Sancho last summer.

The trio has no impact at Old Trafford so far as things stand. As a way of improving the club performance, United sacked manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and replaced him with Ralf Rangnick who is believed to be an experienced manager in the football world. However, things have remained the same with the German impact still to be experienced.

Since taking over Rangnick has failed to improve Manchester United pressing and controlling the game a problem they faced with Solskjaer. The Old Trafford club loses balls at the midfield and leaves the defense exposed which has seen the Manchester club remain behind in the race for the top-four finish. Manchester United is conceding too much and they play as if they are a mid-table team.

For Manchester United to finish where fans demand, they need to solve the midfield problem and Rangnick has a task to make sure the team achieves that by proper management and instilling a winning mentality in his squad.
