With the summer transfer window still on, footballers have continued to mark notable moves across different leagues of the world.After the expiry of his contract with Belgium giants Club Brugge, current reports indicate that Kenyan midfielder Wilkims Ochieng is currently training with Dutch club Jong AZ.
Jong AZ plays in the Netherlands second tier league (Kitchen Champion Division) and the club is the youth team of top tier league (Eredivisie) side AZ Alkmaar.Jong AZ also acts as AZ Alkmaar's feeder club.
Wilkims Ochieng who is currently 19 years old signed his first football deal with Club Brugge in 2017 after which he featured for the club's youth side Club NXT.Despite marking a Belgium U16 national team debut, Ochieng was called up into the Kenya national team Harambee Stars squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in 2021 but failed to mark a debut.
