Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar has revealed the reason why he lost against Liverpool today at Old Trafford. The Red Devils recorded 0-5 lose against Liverpool, a goal from Keita, Jota and Salah hat-trick.
According to Ole Gunnar, the team lost focus in the first minute when they started to play more attacking than defensive. The defence at the first minute was not well organised and this caused Liverpool to score more goals in the first half.
'We lost it in the first minute. We played more attacking game than defensive in the first half and this gave our opponents more chances to score goals in the first half. We had to come back and cover on this but unfortunately we reduced to ten men. However, the second half was successful and if we could have started the game with defensive approach, we could have won it.'
Ole Gunnar believes the cause of today's lose came from lack of defensive skills in the first half.
