It was a good day (31st October, 2020) for Kenya rugby sides as both the Shujaa and Lionesses won their finals against Germany and Uganda respectively to clinch the Men's and Women's 2021 Safari Sevens Championship.
Shujaa deferared Morans 19-17 in the semifinal while Germany thrashed Wailers 26-7 in the second semifinal.
Kenya's national 7s team Shujaa won the 2021 Safari Sevens tournament champions after beating Germany 12-5 in a final match played at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday evening.
Alvin Otieno alias Buffa and Johnstone Olindi scored a try each, helping Shujaa win the 23rd edition of the tournament seeing the Robin Hill Trophy presented to hosts Shujaa.
The defending champions, Kenya Morans lost to champions Shujaa in the semi final stage.
In the women's side; national 7s team Kenya Lionesses defeated neighbours Uganda Cranes ladies, 26-0 to win the women's 2021 Safari Sevens Champions.
