Twitter celebrity Maverick Aoko has send daring message to journalist Linda Ogutu after she was appointed head of the secretariat of a Caretaker Committee formed by CS Amina Mohammed after disbandment of Nick Mwendwa's FKF.
Kenyans on Twitter were skeptical of the team appointed since some of them are never known to be associated with soccer activities.
Aoko commented on Linda Ogutu's selection, saying that while she was one of the few people who messaged her on DM to motivate her, when she was at her lowest point, under vile hatred and mockery from Kenyans on Twitter that she decided to quit the platform, the job does not fit her.
Aoko stated that Ogutu is a wonderful person, but that she should resign and allow Carol Radull to take over because she is a well-known sports enthusiast, particularly of football.
"Linda Ogutu is one of the few human beings who actually cared enough to DM, despite having never met me to ask if I was okay when I said I was quiting Twitter out of personal pain. As a person, she's stellar. However, on this appointment, I respect and love to tell her, wachia Radull," she wrote.
Ogutu reacted to Aoko's sentiments and request by liking it.
