NASHVILLE SC VS FC CINCINNATI.
Nashville have proved to be one of the hardest sides to beat this season with just one loss to their name in 14 games. Unfortunately for the hosts this weekend they have also found wins harder to come by than they would’ve liked with just five wins and eight draws in their remaining games. Those draws have stopped the side from climbing any higher than fourth in the Eastern Conference and they sit seven points off the top of the league.
Cincinnati haven’t enjoyed the same successes as their rivals this season with just three wins but they seem to have picked up a little for in recent weeks with just one loss in their last six games. They still sit in 11th place however and, with 26 goals conceded in 13 games, it’s hard to make a case for them being any higher in the league despite their 17 goals scored.
This should be a really entertaining game between two of the newest sides in MLS and we’re backing Nashville to keep up their positive form by adding another win to their tally in this game. We’re backing them on the handicap market which holds plenty of value with the line currently set at -1. That complements our correct score prediction of 2-0 to the hosts too, a scoreline that makes sense when considered Nashville average 1.9 goals per game at home and Cincinnati concede at a rate of two goals per game.
