Ken Block is a professional rally driver with the Hoonigan Racing Division, as well as a co-founder of DC Shoes and a professional skateboarder. “Mr. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred,” a statement from the Sherriff’s Office said.

He is known for his stunt driving videos and his Gymkhana series, in which he performs complex drifting and tire-smoking maneuvers in high-powered sports cars. Block has also competed in various rallies and rallycross events around the world.

Block also became well-known for the Gymkhana YouTube series, in which he performed driving tricks and drifts in several cities around the US and abroad.
