Before and current photo of Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller as he recovers from Testicular cancer

Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller has returned to team training with Borussia Dortmund after a six-month battle against testicular cancer. Haller has stated that he is making good progress since returning to training with the team. The diagnosis was given to Haller, who is now 28 years old and played for Ajax during the season in which he scored 34 goals. Haller joined Dortmund in July. After he began to feel unwell while the BVB was on their preseason tour in Switzerland, he decided to get checked out, and the results showed that he had a malignant tumor.

According to ESPN, the picture on the left was taken in August 2022, not long after the malignant tumor was identified as the cause of the striker's illness. After that, Haller exhibited the typical wan appearance of a cancer patient. His most recent snapshot taken when he was in training, on the other hand, demonstrates a significant improvement in his physical health as he prepares to make his debut for Borussia Dortmund as soon as possible. Haller left Ajax for Dortmund in a deal worth €31 million after two outstanding years with the Dutch club; however, he has not been able to play in a competitive fixture for his new club since signing due to a diagnosis he received in the team's preseason camp. Haller's time with Dortmund was highlighted by two impressive years. In his fight to get healthy again, he has undergone two surgeries and chemotherapy. It appears as though the procedures are finally paying off, as Haller is getting ready to make a possible return to the football pitch in the near future.
