Kenyan Player Signs For English Club Days After Ending Contract With Chippenham.

Few days after leaving English side Chippenham, Kenyan player Vincent Harper has joined the fifth tier English side Eastleigh FC making it his new home.

Harper caught many by surprise when he declared his exit from from Chippenham only 18 days after joining them as a free agent.

However, he has resurfaced at Eastleigh where he penned a permanent deal. Before joining Chippenham, Harper had been a free agent for more than a month after running down his contract with Bristol City U23 side.

The player aged 20 who plays as a left back said he was ready to get down to business after penning the new deal after days of anxious wait.

Eastleigh head coach Ben Stevens revealed that the defender caught his eye while in a pre-season friendly match and had kept a close eye on his development.

Harper kicked off his career at Bristol City and had played for English sides Gloucester City, Weston Super Mare and Bath City.

He is expected to help Eastleigh rise to the top with the club currently placed 20th on the log with a point after playing three matches this season.
