Since the surprising managerial change at the Theatre of Dreams that has seen Dutch tactician Erik ten Hag take over the reigns on permanent basis from Norwegian tactician, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, England international Aaron Wan-Bissaka has found it difficult to play a game for the Red Devils with the former preferring to deploy Portuguese youngster, Diogo Dalot at the right back.
What's more, the FC Porto's academy graduate has taken the position as his own with him currently boasting an impressive run which makes it hard for him to be retired to the bench anytime soon.
So far, Diogo Dalot braces two assists for the Red Devils besides his great partnership with Englishman, Jadon Sancho at the right wing slot that has given the 20 times Premier League winners a great chance to dominate against their opponents and allowing the United attackers to easily create chances upfront.
Meanwhile, the 23 year old has managed to replicate his United form at the international stage with his performance for Portugal against Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League sending a positive message to the Old Trafford faithful as he bagged two goals to give the Navigators a 4-0 win, adding to Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes tally.
Hence, his latest impressive display for Portugal is no doubt extra bad news to Wan-Bissaka who might now find it extremely difficult to win his right-back slot back with the only way the 24 year old can get a chance to play for the Red Devils once again being when Dalot sustains an injury.
In the meantime, the Red Devils are understood to be perusing through the market ahead of January transfer window in a bid to identify the perfect player who can give a real competition to Diogo Dalot. Denzel Dumfries, Tariq Lamptey, Sergino Dest as well as Benjamin Pavard have all been touted as potential targets for the Erik ten Hag's side.
