See The New Position Of Arsenal After Today's Results

After yesterday's fixture Arsenal team was occupying position 14 with 17 points having played 15 matches. Arteta's men pulled a surprise of the season by defeating The Blues 3-1 having fielded inexperienced squad as far as the season is concerned. The surprise was starting Pablo Mari in the heart of defence that partnered with Tierney. They were ready to the occasion and Chelsea were held throughout the match. The match ended 3-1 at full time.

The early kick off on today, Sunday was a match between Leeds United and Burnley. Burnley came to this game having defeated Wolverhampton 2-1 in the previous match. Leeds on the other hand were defeated by Ole Gunnar Men, beating them 6-2. A really entertaining it was on that day. Every manager called in a strong starting lineup to ensure that the he wins the game easily.

After five minutes it was Leeds United who took the lead through a spot kick which was coolly slotted in by Patrick Bamford. Throughout the match every team had opportunities to score but it was Leeds who held on to become victorious with that solitary strike. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Leeds United

The next game was between West Ham United and Brighton. Brighton took the lead after 44 minutes through Neal Maupay, though was cancelled by Johnson after sloppy defending from Brighton. After 70 minutes Lewis Dunk thought he has sealed all three points for Brighton, only Toma's soucek to equalise after 82 minutes. The match ended 2-2 at full time.

The next match was at Anfied who hosted West Brom Albion. Liverpool started the game on slow having defeated crystal palace 7 nil during the other weekend. Mane gave Liverpool the lead after 11 minutes. Liverpool had a couple of chances which were never utilized completely. WBA equalised through Ajayi after 82 minutes. The match ended 1-1.

After these results today here is how the EPL table looks with Tottenham playing later with Wolverhampton.
