Just like any other team, arsenal have been trying to strike transfer deals recently since the opening of the January transfer window. They were earlier on linked with Dusan Vlahovic but the links subsided afterwards.
However, arsenal fans are joyful after their first signing this summer appears possible. Lille midfielder, Renato Sanches had addressed his recent links to arsenal by declaring that"he is ready to move on from the French club".

The Portuguese midfielder has long been linked with a move back to a top European club after he helped Lille win the France league 1 trophy last season. Arsenal, Milan and Liverpool have been the two squads linked with a move for the 24- year old.
Addressing those claims, Sanches said " Maybe Milan and arsenal are interested but I don't know. I spoke with my agent, I know which clubs are calling but I cannot say right now. But I know I am ready, if an offer comes in, I'll find out what's best for me."
