Gor Mahia Have Signed Kariobangi Sharks Winger Lwasa Ahead Of Next Week FKFPL Return.

Kenyan record champions Gor Mahia alias K'Ogalo have acquired the signature of Ugandan national Lwasa who has parted ways with Kariobangi Sharks.

Gor Mahia who are getting ready for the start of the new season 2021/2022 kicking off next weekend have opted to acquire the services of former Kariobangi Sharks winger, Peter Lwasa.

Lwasa terminated his contract with the Sharkmen after the end of last season, 2020/2021 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) campaign.

He had been rumoured with a move back to Uganda but he opted to stay in Kenya. Lwasa had previously played for Sofapaka alias Batoto Ba Mungu before heading to Kariobangi Sharks, making Gor Mahia his third Kenyan club.

Gor Mahia who have been struggling to pay players salaries have lost a number of players - Steve Njunge, Clifton Miheso, Andrew Juma, Kelvin Wesonga and Charles Momanyi - with some dodging the club when approached for a deal.

Players who have been linked with Gor Mahia include Austin Odhiambo of AFC Leopards, Kariobangi Sharks defender Joshua Onyango.

K'Ogalo have already acquired the services of Malian keeper Adama Keita who is already training with the club.
