2. Wanguru Stadium
The stadium in Mwea, Kirinyaga county has a seating capacity of 10,000. The facility includes the construction of a VIP pavilion in concrete, steel pavilion stands and roofing of earth terraces in a steel roof structure.
It is owned and operated by the county government of Machakos. It was upgraded to a 10,000-seater capacity arena with a green pitch, metallic stands, well-made changing rooms and fitted with CCTV cameras.
4. Bukhungu Stadium
It is a multi-purpose stadium located in Kakamega county. It has a seating capacity of 5,000 and is used mostly for football matches. It is home to Western Stima.
5. Dandora Stadium
It has a seating capacity of 12,000 and is the first sports facility in East Africa to display electronic advertising boards. It also has artificial turf.
6. Masinde Muliro
It sits on a 20-acre parcel of land and is home to KPL side Nzoia Sugar. The 20,000-seater facility comprises a 500-seater pavilion and fencing.
7. Isiolo Stadium
Ksh345 million stadia in Isiolo town accommodates 15,000 fans. It has train tracks with eight lanes, pavilions and a pitch for all ball games and indoor games. The stadium has artificial turf.
8. Gusii Stadium
It is located on the outskirts of Kisii town. It was renamed Simon Nyachae Stadium.
9. Bomet Stadium
The construction stopped after a former governor of Bomet lost the seat. It is in a pathetic state.
