

Arsenal humbled and humiliated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to claim all the 3 points and a clean sheet victory. Arsenal were dominant in the first half but could not break Chelsea defence hence forced into a goalless draw at the break. Chelsea were indiscipline hence saw Aubameyang, Azipilicueta and Chalobah receive yellow cards while Saka received one for Arsenal.


Arsenal were relentless in the second goal in their pursuit for a goal hence Gabriel Marghaleas combined with Bukayo Saka corner to score Gunners only goal in the 63rd minute. Chelsea brought on Broja, Gallagher, Kovacic and Pulisic as substitutes for Aubameyang, Havertz, Loftus Cheek and Mount but could not find the equaliser as Arsenal held on for a 1-0 victory. After the 1-0 win Arsenal overtook Manchester City at the top od the Premier League table with 34 points while Chelsea dropped to position 7 with 21 points; 11 points below 2nd placed Man City.
