Highly-rated Vihiga Bullets forward Vincent Ogola is set to join Ulinzi Stars ahead of next season, Mozzart Sport can confirm.
The attacker was one of the standout performers for the relegated side and he is now set to move away and join the military outfit that is beefing up its squad after a very underwhelming 2021/22 FKF Premier League where they finished in the 13th position in the log.
The striker found the back of the net five times and was on the radar of FKF Premier League side, FC Talanta. The former Kisumu All-Stars man is now set to move to the Nakuru-based military outfit.
A source within Bullets’ camp has confirmed that the two clubs have struck a deal that will see the speedster join Ulinzi Stars. He has also been offered an opportunity to join the Kenyan military.
“Vincent is heading to Ulinzi Stars. They offered him a job and as a club we couldn't stand in his way, he is a good player but an opportunity to secure his future is one we couldn't deny him. He has the potential to grow and become a better player and we wish him well at his new workstation, " the source revealed.
The team will also be boosted by the availability of former Tusker FC man Boniface Muchiri who has graduated from the military and is now available for selection. Ex Nzoia Sugar attacker Hilary Simiyu is also set to rejoin the team. Kakamega Homeboyz winger David Okoth has also been linked with the club.
