DONE DEAL As Star Completes Medicals, Pogba, Chelsea Latest Updates, Fabio Carvalho To Liverpool

With the transfer window barely three weeks away, many football clubs have moved to strike transfer deals in an attempt to improve their squads. Prominent teams such as Manchester United and Chelsea have declared massive changes in their squad to rebuild the team ahead of the new season. Here are the latest transfer updates on top transfer deals hitting headlines.

Liverpool have completed the signing of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham on a free transfer. The reds only had to pay £5m tribunal fee as stated in his contract with Fulham if he joins another top club. Liverpool had earlier on pursued Fabio in the winter transfer window only to run out of time. The star has agreed a 5 year deal with Liverpool as he's set for a move to Anfield. Reports indicate that Carvalho has completed at Fulham and is a few steps away from completing his move(Source, Skysports).

Paul Pogba has agreed a three year deal with Juventus worth £30m. The star will move to Turin as a free agent after his contract expires next month at Old Trafford. PSG and Bayern Munich have also been linked with him but Juventus are close to sealing the deal. Rafaela Pimenta, Pogba's representative, had reportedly met with Juventus to discuss a possible move with his salary as a major barrier to the move. Pogba said earlier on that he had agreed contract terms with Manchester City but considered a backlash from Manchester United fans and turned down the offer(Source, Skysports).

Thomas Tuchel has urged Chelsea to be "fast and smart" in the transfer market immediately after the takeover. Recently, Chelsea has joined the race in signing Matthijs De Light from Juventus who is also linked with a move to Tottenham despite Juventus striving to keep him. Sevilla have placed a £59m asking price for Jules Kounde who is also a major target for The Blues and Barcelona.
