While that happened, there are a number of Kenyan players who play professionally abroad. One is Ayub Timbe who plies his trade for Buriram FC In Thailand.
Masika is one of the most talented Kenyan players within the Harambee stars set. Despite having some setbacks before moving to Thailand, he has proven himself to doubters. The speedy winger helped his club lift the Thailand FA cup by one goal. Masika played 60 minutes of the game. This becomes the 2nd title after winning the league title some weeks ago.
Ayub Timbe is now finally winning titles after his previous attempts failed with clubs like Reading, Vissel Kobe and a Chinese club. After the end of the current season, Timbe is expected to travel back to Kenya for holiday before resuming another season abroad.
His Younger Brother Musa Masika has been actively playing in the Kenyan Premier League before terminating his contract with Wazito FC. He has not found a club yet as he maintains his fitness levels.
