Costa Rica vs Germany.
Spain appears to be the group's favorite to win, but a 1-1 draw with Germany soon after maintains their advantage in head-to-head games, and after Costa Rica scored a late goal against Japan, Germany is under pressure once more.
Only eight years ago, the four-time world champions won the World Cup. If they don't win all three games, they'll be sent home from the tournament for the second time in a row. Germany needs a victory to advance and will be hoping that Spain defeats Japan at the same time.

In contrast to Spain, Germany did appear far better and were able to limit the Spanish to only three shots on target as opposed to their own four. Finally given the chance to shine for Germany, Niclas Fullkrug, who has been in fine form, scored an equalizer.
Even though they defeated Japan 1-0, Costa Rica once again played poorly. That day, Keysher Fuller scored the winning goal with barely nine seconds left on the clock, and a draw might be enough for them to qualify.
For this prediction: Germany to win this match and over 2.5 goals.
