Moyes gets revenge as The Hammers beat United at Old Trafford

David Moyes will be a happy man finally after getting his short awaited revenge after being beaten in the premier league by Ole. Seems like a sweet revenge given Man united were at home. He will be reprieved but he also understands premier league points are more important given the fact that teams like Manchester city and high flying Chelsea are still in the competition.

Lanzini gave the visitors the lead inside just 10 minutes of the Carabao tie and The Hammers managed to hold on the win. Ole must be very positive given the more fixtures still to come thick and fast. There is no always time to regret. The hard work will still surely go on.

Anthony Martial will surely be furious with himself given her never took his chances seriously thanks to a good defensive display from Dawson and Issa Diop. That only continues to push him down the pecking order just to add to Ronaldo's presence in the team. Jason Sancho will be happy with himself given his personal performance in the game. He seemed sharp all the time.

Anthony Elanga got some game time coming on for Alex Telles given his terrific form since last season with his under 23 and International performance. He will be looking to get more time with the first team given his fast growth as a player. He may find hard for chances to come by given the depth united have at the moment.

A lot can be said about today's game given the fact that it was really a nice match for the neutrals. That really marked united exit out of the carabao and David Moyes' revenge.
