Today we have received news that a top kenyan Midfielder has been dropped by his club after he came out of contract. According to the source, Teddy Okumu who plays in south Africa premier league side Kaiser Chiefs has been released by the club.
Akumu who was born on October, 1992, in Rachuonyo district, Siaya county joined Kaiser Chiefs in the year 2019 from Gor Maia. In the last season of 2021-2022 he only played 9 games scoring zero goals after playing for 319 minutes.
He played for Harambee Stars in AFCON 2019 and 2022 world cup qualifiers.
