Harambee stars midfielder Johana Omondi made his debut for Waasland Beverens in the Belgium second tier side against Al Badaoui as his side emerged 3.1 winners.Omondi joined the side on a six months loan and was eager to make his debut.The 27year old midfielder left Swedish side Jorkopings Sondra after ending his contract with the side.Omondi made a cameo on the 87th minute and will be hoping for more minutes. 
He has joined the likes of Victor Wanyama ,Johana Omollo and Ayub Timbe who featured in Belgium before leaving. Currently, omondi and Okumu are the two Kenyan players featuring in the Belgium leagues, with Joseph Okumu featuring in the Belgium Pro league for KAA Gent while Omondi featuring for Second tier side Waasland Beverens.
