Pele the Brazilian football player whose captivating skill and athleticism ensured he was universally regarded as one of football’s greatest players, has died at the age of 82. Pele who had a colon tumour removed in 2021, was readmitted to Albert Einstein hospital in São Paulo in November amid deteriorating health.
After his death was confirmed, Christiano Ronaldo and his friend Leonel Messi who are also among the greatest footballer for the last fifteen years posted on their Facebook official pages condoling with the death. Messi posted his photos with Pele during their best moments and wished him to rest in peace.
Christiano Ronaldo also posted one their best moments together before he penned down an emotional message. He sent his condolences to all Brazilians saying it will never be enough to express the pain that the entire football world is currently experiencing.
He went ahead and said the love Pele used to show him was reciprocated in every moment they shared even from a distance. He concluded by saying his memories will forever be remembered in each and every football lovers.
