Harambee stars defender and Gormahia fc captain Harun Shakava urged fans to support the team against Uganda Cranes on Thursday at Nyayo National Stadium .Shakava spoke to the team's official page through a video clip as he was happy for the team's morale in camp.
The towering defender was called to replace Joash Onyango who is said to be recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during their quarter final match against Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa. Joash Onyango is currently in Kenya with his Simba SC teammates as they prepare for the new season. Shakava could be partnered with either Eugene Asike of Tusker FC or Joseph Okumu who plys his trade with Belgium side KAA Gent. However, Okumu arrived late in the night yesterday and all eyes will he on Ghost Mulee to select him or someone else.
On the other hand, the team's website will steamlive the match and fans have been urged to watch it. However, we are still waiting for an official information from KBC Chanel one who haven't disclosed on whether they will bring the match live or not.
